How to apply mascara.
Step 1: Hold the brush parallel to the lash line and coat the lashes evenly from root to tip.
Step 2: Allow the mascara to dry briefly and, if desired, apply a second coat.
Step 3: For extra volume work in a zig-zag technique: move the brush gently side-to-side—first on the lower, then on the upper lashes.
Step 4: For a natural look apply mascara only to the lengths without the zig-zag movement.
Mascara tips for your perfect look.
Tip 1: Choose black mascara for a dramatic, intense and high-contrast look.
Tip 2: Choose brown mascara for a light, subtle and harmonious finish—particularly flattering on mature eyes.
Tip 3: Tilt your head slightly back while applying so that your lashes do not touch the upper lid and smudges are avoided.
Tip 4: If you want to pick up more product, twist the brush inside the container instead of pumping—this keeps your mascara fresh for longer.
FAQ:
For short lashes we recommend the Defining Mascara or the Long Lasting Mascara. Both brushes coat even the shortest hairs with ease and add extra definition. The Volume Mascara is also an option—its slightly wider Brush just requires a little more finesse on short lashes.
All three mascaras work on hooded eyes—the choice depends on your lash length. For secure coating without transfer we especially recommend the Long Lasting Mascara: it is smudge-proof and ensures a flawless result even on hooded eyes.
Lightly powder the eye area to absorb excess oils before applying mascara. If your mascara tends to smudge, set it with a little dark Eyeshadow —or opt straight for our smudge-proof Long Lasting Mascara, which holds for up to 12 hours without smearing.
For well-defined lashes, we recommend the Defining Mascara or the Long Lasting Mascara. Apply them in gentle zig-zag movements from root to tip—ideally just once. This distributes the product evenly and prevents clumps or stuck-together lashes.
